How to flip image
- Choose a suitable static JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC/HEIF or AVIF from your device.
- Choose a horizontal flip for a mirror image, a vertical flip to reverse top and bottom, or both. The output keeps its pixel dimensions.

Should I flip a visa or passport photograph?
Only follow the issuing authority’s rules. Many application photos must not be mirrored; this tool is intended for general images.
Can I open iPhone HEIC and AVIF photos?
Yes. Static HEIC/HEIF photos are decoded on your device; the decoder loads only when needed. AVIF requires browser support. Image collections and animations are not supported. Exports are JPG, PNG or WebP, rather than HEIC or AVIF. For government forms, check whether conversion or editing is allowed.
What happens to my original?
Your original file is unchanged. Processing happens in this browser without uploading your image to FileMelon. A new export may have a different file size, colour appearance or metadata. Check the preview and output before using it.
