No. The model and processing engine load from FileMelon; image processing happens in your browser. Your photo is not sent to a background-removal service.
Why are some edges imperfect?
Automatic removal works best with a distinct subject. Fine hair, transparent objects, multiple subjects and cluttered backgrounds may produce imperfect cutouts.
Can I use this for passport photos?
Use this tool for general images. Follow the issuing authority’s rules for identity photos; some do not allow background replacement.
